Repairs & Item Donations

1.  Repairs and Refurbishment

We are very good at repairing and refurbishing things at our premises. If new components are required we will make or obtain them as feasible. 

Furniture, Household

• Indoor and outdoor furniture: chairs, tables, cabinets, chests, planters, display items 
• household items in general, lamps, frames

Gardening Tools and Machines

• Lawnmower servicing, sharpening and repairs
• Servicing and repairs for other machines (petrol and electric) such as strimmers and chainsaws.
• Sharpening hand tools such as lawn shears, hedge shears

2. Donations of Items

We are grateful for donations of items which are no longer wanted, provided that:

• they are items which we could either use ourselves or sell to raise funds
• the items can be repaired economically or refurbished where necessary

We are unable to take-in items which do not meet the above criteria. We also generally will not accept cordless/battery powered tools.

Please contact a Shed Trustee before bringing donations, or bring donations during normal opening hours so we can assess whether or not they can be accepted.

DO NOT bring items out of hours and leave them at the gate. This will be treated as fly-tipping.
