The Music Group currently meets weekly on Wednesdays 10.30am – 12pm.
We have performed at occasions in the Shed (eg AGMs, Burns nights) and also at external venues such as care homes, a retirement village, church halls, village halls and Culter Gala.
Our current line-up of instrument playing comprises guitar, ukelele, keyboard, tin whistle, mouth organ, and kazoos (!). We are interested in all genres of music and mainly play a mix of popular music, folk music, traditional Scottish and Irish music, and sea shanties. A few of our songs are parodies written by members.
New members are most welcome to sing/play as they wish.
